Teacher Appreciation Night - 7:30 pm Wednesday, April 24

Eagles Varsity families, 

We are thrilled to have a night honoring a teacher of your player's choice. This should be a teacher who has influenced him and can be from elementary, middle, or high school.

Arrival Time for teachers is 7 pm

TO DO:

We will need your son to:

  1. Invite a teacher who has made an impact on him. This can be from elementary, middle, or high school. There is a sample email invitation below that can be used. Please invite teacher by Wednesday April 10.

  2. Fill out this google form with the info about the teacher by Wednesday, April 17 – you will be asked to provide a sentence or two about the teacher and why your student selected him/her. This will be read over the loudspeaker as your player and teacher are introduced. There are a couple samples on the form.  https://forms.gle/PeVCMHdBj6uVqWqr8

  3. Your player will need to write a hand-written note that will be presented to the teacher with a rose at the game. This note should be a note of thanks to that teacher for their support. Notes are due to Coach Wilson Wednesday, April 17. Please write your teacher’s name on the outside of the envelope.

I wanted to invite you as my guest to the Allen Eagles baseball Teacher Appreciation Night on Wednesday, April 24 at the Allen Eagles baseball fields. This is a game where we honor those teachers who have significantly influenced us. 

If you can please arrive by 7 pm, we will line up and walk on the field together. If you can please confirm that you will be able to attend, that would be terrific. We would love for you to stay for the game as well, which starts at 7:30 pm. Mr. Russell, AHS Principal, will be throwing out the first pitch. Thank you for the positive impact you have had on me.
